Job Title: Travel Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN - Day Shift

Job Description: Join the dedicated cardiac care team at Cone Health - Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC! We are seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on the day shift. In our 30-bed specialized cardiac unit (Unit 2A), you will care for patients with CHF, acute coronary syndrome, pre/post-cardiac catheterizations, arrhythmias, and secondary respiratory needs. First-time travelers are warmly welcomed!

Contract Details:

• Target Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour Days (07:00–19:30) with self-assisted scheduling.
• Commitment: Weekend rotation and holidays as required by unit needs. All RTO must be submitted upfront.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience, with a strong background in Cardiac PCU/Stepdown care.
• Skills: Proficiency in managing cardiac drips, dysrhythmias, chest tubes, and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP).
• Systems: Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required.
• Certifications: Active AHA BLS and ACLS required at submission.
• Licensure: Active state license in hand at submission.
• Travel Eligibility: Must reside strictly outside a 50-mile radius (Driver's License required at submittal).
