Description

• Full-time FNP hospitalist position in a psychiatric hospital setting
• 7 on/7 off block schedule
• 10-hour daytime shifts
• Provide initial medical admissions evaluations & H&Ps, follow ups, diagnostics and discharges for ages 5+. Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including initial history and physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to create integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance overall health
• Requires board certification as a family nurse practitioner and an Alaska license upon start date
• Requires a minimum of one year of practice experience
• Compensation in the range of $170K-$180K plus comprehensive benefits
• Anchorage, Alaska location
