Title: Nurse Round 

Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced RN with recent acute care hospital experience (minimum 2 years within the last 3 years) and a strong foundation in inpatient case management, and discharge planning. 

This role partners directly with the Director of Nursing to support patient flow, length of stay reduction, and overall hospital throughput initiatives.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience conducting daily inpatient rounds, performing concurrent medical necessity reviews (InterQual or Milliman), and proactively identifying and resolving discharge barriers. 

Must demonstrate success in driving timely discharges, and collaborating across interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nursing leadership, and social services.
Candidates should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, metrics-driven acute care environment, with the ability to escalate issues, influence care progression, and support executive-level priorities tied to quality, utilization, and cost containment. Prior experience within a managed care or integrated delivery system is strongly preferred.
