Compensation: $3,246/week gross

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5×8s, with occasional weekend coverage

Overview

A facility in Scottsbluff, Nebraska is seeking an experienced Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an ASAP start. This 13‑week assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with a manageable daily caseload and a diverse patient mix across acute care and inpatient rehab.

Requirements

Active Nebraska SLP license
BLS (AHA)
Strong background in acute care and inpatient rehab
Ability to manage a daily caseload of 7–10 patients
Competency with Epic EMR
Experience with neuro and trauma populations preferred

Patient Population & Clinical Focus

Neuro: Stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s
Trauma
Post‑intubation recovery
Cognitive evaluations for home‑safety readiness
Swallow studies (occasional)

Position Details

Provide comprehensive SLP evaluations and therapeutic interventions
Manage a mixed caseload across acute care and inpatient rehab settings
Conduct cognitive assessments, swallowing evaluations, and treatment planning
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation within Epic and adhere to all regulatory standards

Compensation

Competitive $3,246/week gross
Stable weekday schedule with occasional weekend coverage
