Number of Beds -14 LDRPs and 2 ORs
Number of Staff – 60
Type of staff:
Day Shift – 1 charge RN, 2-3 LD RNs and 2-3 PP RNs
Night Shift – 1 charge RN, 2-3 LD RNs and 2-3 PP RNs
Patient Ratios – 1:1 to 1:2 max for LD and 3:1 for PP per AWHONN guidelines
Type of equipment – Beacon
EMR – Meditech /CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience
BLS, ACLS, NRP and EFM - C or AWHONN, Active RN license
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Prior Meditech experience
Postpartum experience is highly preferred
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Versions, C/Sections, vaginal assisted deliveries
D&C’s
