Location: Gainesville, GA 30501

Shift: PM | 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (3x12)
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. The RN will monitor patients during recovery, manage post-operative complications, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient outcomes.
Main Requirements
- Active RN GA License
- PACU experience required
- Experience caring for post-surgical patients
- Epic charting experience preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during post-anesthesia recovery.
- Perform comprehensive post-operative assessments.
- Manage pain, airway, and hemodynamic stability.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as ordered.
- Identify and respond to post-operative complications.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge instructions.
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
