Description

Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Butte, MT 59701

Duration: 13 Weeks 

Shift: Night Shift – 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (36 hours/week)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • ACLS – Required
  • PALS – Required
  • TNCC – Required
  • Strong skills in emergency patient assessment, triage, critical care, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and patient education
  • Must be willing to float to other departments within scope of practice and participate in on-call coverage if needed

Description:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment for patients presenting with emergency and critical conditions. Responsibilities include performing nursing and delegated medical functions, monitoring treatment plans, administering therapies, documenting patient care, providing health education, coordinating referrals, and responding rapidly to emergencies. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Floating to other units and on-call responsibilities may be required based on operational needs.
