Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (Nights Available)

Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rates.

• Shifts: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekends as scheduled
• Call: Only if unit is down-staffed or placed on call
• Float: May care for inpatient holds as needed

• 34-bed Acute Care/Medical Surgical Unit
• Patient Ratio: 6:1
• Patient Population:
  • Adult
  • Geriatric
  • Occasional pediatric patients (not assigned to travelers)
• Common Diagnoses:
  • General Medical
  • Surgical
  • Telemetry Patients
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
• Equipment Includes:
  • Alaris IV Pumps
  • Telemetry Monitoring
  • Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs)
  • Feeding Tubes
  • Standard Medical-Surgical Equipment

Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS Required
• ACLS Required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (travel experience of at least 1 year preferred)
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Flexible team player with a willingness to assist where needed
