Description

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Requirements

Day Shift, 4 x 12s. no set days of the week. 0630 - 1900. must have BLS and Teams or equivalent. 2 years or more of experience. 2 behavioral health units. BMU ration is 1:5 as it is med Psy. 10 patient max on unit. Works with MHT as well. MHU ration is 1:6 and has 21 beds. works with MHT as well. Adult Psy. Possible Call.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications:

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
