Job Title: Travel Flex Stepdown / Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift
Job Description: Take on an urgent travel assignment at the prestigious WVU J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV! We are seeking an adaptable Stepdown / Med-Surg Registered Nurse for day shift on our dynamic 29-bed flex unit. In this role, you will care for a diverse medical patient population, seamlessly transitioning between stepdown and floor acuity as hospital needs dictate. Apply today!
Contract Details:
- Target Start Date: 07/20/2026 (Immediate need).
- Shift: 3x12-hour Days (Weekend position structure).
- Commitment: Working about half of all WVU Health system-recognized holidays.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven ability to manage a 6-patient Med-Surg assignment or a 3-patient Stepdown assignment, including critical drip titration.
- Systems: EPIC EMR proficiency is strictly required.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS required at submittal.
- Radius Policy: Must reside strictly outside a 50-mile radius (An unexpired copy of the Driver's License is mandatory at the time of submission).
- Dress Code: Royal blue and white scrubs.
