Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Location: Beckley, West Virginia

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week

Join Raleigh General Hospital, a Joint Commission-accredited Level III Trauma Center providing exceptional care to southern West Virginia. The hospital treats more than 13,000 inpatients annually and sees over 50,000 emergency department visits each year, while offering a wide range of advanced surgical specialties and serving as a clinical education site for nursing and allied health students.

Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rates.

• Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Openings: 1
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/as needed, including potential on-call coverage
• Call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• Float: Interdepartmental as needed

Requirements

• Active West Virginia RN license (or compact license if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• PALS required
• TNCC required
• ASPAN certification preferred
• ICU, Emergency Department, or PACU experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced surgical environment
