Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract

We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Promote a safe, positive, and patient-centered environment.
• Float to other units within your competency if needed based on staffing requirements.
• Participate in on-call coverage if required by the department.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ASN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required depending on the unit.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Preferred

• Previous RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• Specialty certification related to the assigned unit.
