Description

Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

Join our dedicated imaging team and make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment. We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist who is committed to excellence, patient safety, and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license/registration
Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology and Vascular procedure experience
Experience operating Siemens and Philips imaging equipment
At least 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment health clearance

Responsibilities

Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of Radiologists
Welcome patients, explain procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience
Position patients accurately and select appropriate exposure factors to obtain high-quality images
Maintain strict radiation safety and protection standards
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and troubleshoot/report equipment issues as needed
Document patient and exam information accurately in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and established imaging protocols
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and meet diagnostic needs
