Unit Information

• 9-bed Labor & Delivery Unit
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Patient Population: Adult
• Electronic Medical Record: Centricity & Meditech

Common Patient Diagnoses & Procedures

• Normal Spontaneous Labor
• Preterm Labor
• Gestational Hypertension
• Preeclampsia
• Placenta Previa
• Placental Abruption
• Fetal Distress
• Umbilical Cord Prolapse
• Postpartum Hemorrhage

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• BLS required
• ACLS or ALS-OB required
• NRP required
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification required
• Strong experience with:
  • Fetal monitoring and assessment
  • Emergency response
  • Postpartum care
  • Time management
• Adaptable, detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills and empathy

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• No non-compliant scrub colors
• No scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content
• Appropriate clinical footwear required
