Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)

 

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Schedule: 36 Hours/Week (3x12s)

 

Join HRMC JV General Partner in beautiful Lake Havasu City, Arizona, a Joint Commission-accredited 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center. This Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center provides high-quality care to the surrounding region while offering travelers the opportunity to work in a scenic destination known for outdoor recreation, mountain views, and the crystal-clear waters of Lake Havasu.

 

Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rates.

Please Note: ICU experience required. No block schedule requests. 48-hour guarantees may be considered but are not guaranteed.

Orientation: Weekly.

 

Position Details

  • Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)
  • Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Openings: 1
  • Call: Required when placed on call; must be able to report within 30 minutes
  • Float Requirements:
    • Medical Surgical
    • Telemetry
    • ED holds awaiting admission

    • 1:3–4
  • Patient Population:
    • Adult
    • Geriatric
  • Electronic Medical Record: Medhost

 

Common Patient Diagnoses

  • STEMI
  • NSTEMI
  • Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
  • COPD
  • Sepsis
  • CABG post-op day 2 care
  • Acute Respiratory Failure
  • Atrial Fibrillation with RVR
  • ALIF
  • XLIF

 

Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
  • ICU experience required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Current required certifications per facility requirements
  • Strong critical care skills and ability to manage complex IMC patients
  • Must be flexible and willing to float as needed
