Pay Rate: $50.00-$54.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:10 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Guaranteed Hours: 37.50 hours per week
Contract Length: 42 Weeks
Assignment Dates: September 1, 2026 – June 17, 2027

Halcyon Nurse Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated STEM/Gifted & Talented (G&T) Teacher to join Cresthaven Academy Charter for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to educate and inspire high-achieving students through engaging STEM instruction and enrichment activities in a collaborative school environment.

Position Details

• Competitive Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
• 42-week school-year contract
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 3:10 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Guaranteed 37.50 hours per week
• Vacancy position with the potential for contract extension

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging STEM and Gifted & Talented curriculum.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of advanced learners.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate educational records.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification (or eligibility, as required)
• Endorsement or experience in STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Gifted & Talented education preferred
• Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Must meet all district onboarding and background check requirements
