Shift:
5x8s - Days 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM, 35 hours/week, 1 hour break 

Weekends and holidays are required. 

Mostly 1 or 2 weekends per month

Work Experience:
At least 2 years of experience required, 3 years or more years of experience is preferred.

Education:
Graduate from accredited college/university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition. 
Master's degree

License:
For post-acute locations, requirements New York State Certification, issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a “Dietitian-Nutritionist”. 
For Acute locations: Registration by the Commissions on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian Primary Source Verification - Required. 
Special Note for Dietitians assigned to Post-Acute Care (Long-Term Care) facility: Under the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, Reform of Requirements for Long-Term Care Facilities, as outlined in Section 483.60 of Title 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations all newly-hired Dietitians, assigned to a Post-Acute Care (Long-Term Care) facility, are required to have New York State Certification, issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), as a “Dietitian-Nutritionist” at the time of hire.

Certifications: 
AHA BLS
Commissions on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian
Additional credentials such as Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)/diabetes educator OR Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC)/critical illness is highly desired.
