MRI Technologist
Location: Creve Coeur, MO
Job Type: Per Diem / Temporary Assignment (3-4 Months)
Shift: Days | Monday-Friday

A busy outpatient imaging center is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a patient-focused imaging team starting at the end of September. This is a daytime opportunity with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements, making it an excellent fit for professionals seeking strong work-life balance in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and quality standards.
• Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast media when indicated and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly and maintain a clean, safe imaging environment.
• Assist with additional imaging procedures when qualified, including X-ray and CT.

Requirements

• ARRT (R) Certification Required
• MRI Certification Preferred
• Experience performing MRI procedures independently.
• Experience administering contrast injections.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols.
• CT and/or X-ray experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in an outpatient imaging environment.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• No weekends
• No holidays
• No on-call
