- Number of Beds - 29
- Number of Staff – 61
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 Desk PCT, RN’s based on census
- Night Shift – 1 charge, 1 desk PCT, RN’s based on census
- Patient Ratios – 3-4 couplets per RN
- Type of equipment – Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring
- EMR – Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 1-year current acute care Postpartum hospital experience
- BLS & NRP
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- High risk post-partum experience
- Level 2 Nursery experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- POC Glucose monitoring
- Breastfeeding support
- Post-partum hemorrhage management
- Assist with circumcision
- Hypertension assessment/management
Best personality Fit:
· Positive attitude, hard worker, likes to stay busy
· Patient care experience is a priority
