Shift: Day 3x12-Hour 0730 AM -20:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,750
W2:  $27.20/hr.

Stipend:  $1,771 Weekly
 

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Travel X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality  examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate is skilled in operating X-Ray equipment, administering contrast when appropriate, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized scan according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for X-Ray procedures.
• Administer IV contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Operate and maintain X-Ray imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity, review medical history, and ensure accurate exam documentation.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS.
• Follow radiation safety (ALARA), infection control, and patient safety guidelines.
• Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care.
   

Requirements
1+ Years of X-Ray Tech Experience - Required
ARRT (R) and BLS AHA -Required
