Description
Shift: 36 Hours/Week (3x12s) – Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
Call: Backup call every 9th weekend; holiday call as needed
EMR/Equipment: Canon CT Scanner
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist License (Required)
- ARRT (CT) Advanced Registration strongly preferred
- BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Operate CT equipment while following radiation safety and dose optimization standards.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning, and image quality.
- Administer patient care, education, and maintain detailed medical documentation.
- Follow Joint Commission, state, federal, and hospital policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support department operations.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new staff and students as needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong CT imaging experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care best practices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable working independently and participating in an on-call rotation.
