Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Winchester, Tennessee

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

Located in the scenic foothills of southern Tennessee, Winchester is home to Tims Ford Lake, providing opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking, and year-round outdoor recreation, while remaining within easy driving distance of Chattanooga and Nashville.

Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates.

• 12-bed Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 3–5:1

Unit Overview:

This is an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit where patients remain under medical management while participating in approximately three hours of therapy each day to regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Common Patient Diagnoses

• Stroke
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Status Post CABG
• Status Post Orthopedic Surgery
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Multi-Trauma
• General Debility

Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license (or compact license if applicable)
• ASN or BSN required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• BLS certification required
• Hospital-based nursing experience
• Strong assessment and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Motivational, encouraging personality with a passion for helping patients achieve independence
