Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety and ALARA principles.
Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment in accordance with departmental standards.
Maintain accurate documentation and complete electronic medical record entries as required.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic services.
Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
Monitor equipment performance and report any maintenance concerns.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Diagnostic X-Ray experience required.
ARRT (R) certification required.
Previous travel assignment experience required. First-time travelers will only be considered with 3+ years of recent X-Ray experience.
Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, imaging techniques, and radiation safety.
Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
Scheduling Expectations
Night shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM.
Weekend coverage as needed.
Schedule may be adjusted based on departmental needs.
Block scheduling is not available.
Assignment Requirements
Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the assignment location to qualify.
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
Valid driver's license is required with the submission.
Candidates must meet all compliance requirements before the assignment begins.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
Current influenza vaccination is required with no exemptions.
