Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Clinic | Houston, TX
Pride Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support our client's Oncology Clinic in Houston, TX 77014. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical nurse to join a patient-centered outpatient oncology team.
Job Details
- Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

- Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs
- Interview: In-person
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and perform nursing assessments.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Perform telephone and in-clinic patient triage for acute concerns.
- Coordinate patient care and schedule appointments.
- Communicate test results, provider recommendations, and treatment updates.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Clinical or inpatient nursing experience.
- Triage experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology nursing experience.
- Radiation Oncology experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
