Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Clinic | Houston, TX

Pride Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support our client's Oncology Clinic in Houston, TX 77014. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical nurse to join a patient-centered outpatient oncology team.

Job Details

  • Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Location: Houston, TX 77014
  • Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Dress Code: Any color scrubs
  • Interview: In-person

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and perform nursing assessments.
  • Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Perform telephone and in-clinic patient triage for acute concerns.
  • Coordinate patient care and schedule appointments.
  • Communicate test results, provider recommendations, and treatment updates.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in Epic EMR.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Clinical or inpatient nursing experience.
  • Triage experience in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
     
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Oncology nursing experience.
  • Radiation Oncology experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
