Description
Blood Bank Medical Technologist – Travel Contract
Hard Stop Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Must be a seasoned Blood Bank traveler
- Recent/current Blood Bank travel experience within the last 2 years required
- Recent EPIC experience required
- Blood Bank experience required (no exceptions)
- Experience with Blood Bank software required (any software acceptable)
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Large hospital experience required (300+ beds)
Preferred Experience:
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- WellSky and Immucor instrumentation experience preferred
Position Details:
- High-volume Blood Bank environment
- Approximately 30–50 samples/day
- Heavy Type & Screen and Crossmatch workload
- Must work fully independently on night shift
- Must be confident making critical decisions without direct supervision
Schedule Requirements:
- Night shift
- Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
