Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Nyack, NY 10960
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Days & Nights (Starts with Night Shifts, transitions to Days, then back to Nights)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
Active Respiratory Therapist license required
CRT (NBRC) certification required
BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
Acute care hospital experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory medications
Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment
Perform respiratory treatments and airway management
Monitor patient response and document care accurately in Epic
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
