Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS or ALS-OB
• NRP
• EFM
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OB/GYN experience

Unit Details

• Patient population: Adults
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Unit size: 9 beds

Common Clinical Presentations

• Normal spontaneous labor
• Preterm labor
• Gestational hypertension
• Preeclampsia
• Placenta previa
• Placental abruption
• Fetal distress
• Umbilical cord prolapse
• Postpartum hemorrhage

Work Environment Notes

• Must be adaptable, a team player, detail-oriented, and able to communicate well
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Non-compliant scrub colors, slogan/graphic scrubs, and inappropriate footwear are not allowed
