RN - Emergency Department

Overview

• Travel RN position in the Emergency Department
• 13-week assignment
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Float to similar assignments

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• CPI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Meditech experience

Unit Details

• 26-bed Emergency Department
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5, depending on acuity
• Treats all patient populations
• Common cases include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension

Work Environment

• Team-oriented, engaged, positive attitude preferred
• Any scrub color allowed
