Requirements & Qualifications

Certifications Required:
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA
Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- On-call availability as required by unit needs.
Licensure: Active state license/registration as required by Arizona.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures.
Prepare, set up, and maintain sterile fields and specialized equipment in the cardiac cath lab.
Monitor, record, and document hemodynamic data and vital signs during procedures.
Administer contrast media and handle radiation equipment adhering to strict ALARA safety guidelines.
Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and safety before, during, and post-procedure.
