Description
Job Title: Travel Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care
Job Description: Take on an exciting travel assignment with top-tier healthcare systems! We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse with strong travel experience and EPIC proficiency. While CVICU and Neuro ICU backgrounds are preferred, qualified ICU nurses ready to adapt across critical care, step-down, and med-surg acuity levels are encouraged to apply today!
Contract Details:
- Shift: 3x12-hour shifts.
- Commitment: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.
- Floating: Must be flexible to float between specialty ICUs (Neuro/Burn), step-down/IMC and Med-Surg units within skillset, as well as sister facilities within a 40-mile radius if needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven travel nursing experience in an ICU setting (CVICU/Neuro experience preferred).
- Systems: EPIC EMR experience required.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS and ACLS required at submittal.
- Licensure: Active state RN license or multi-state compact license in hand.

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
