Duration: 8 Weeks Contract

Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ER) experience required.
• Recent ER travel nursing experience preferred (within the last 6–8 months).
• Experience in a similar-sized facility preferred.
• Must have experience caring for adult and pediatric patients.
• Level II or Level III trauma experience required.
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
  • NRP preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Must be willing to obtain required certifications if offered.

Description:
This Emergency Department RN position is for a combined adult and pediatric ED unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. The RN will provide emergency nursing care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, psychiatric, and critical care cases.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, medication administration, emergency interventions, IV therapy, blood product administration, ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP management, dysrhythmia monitoring, trauma care, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

The facility has a 42-bed Emergency Department with an average daily census of approximately 200 patients and provides support services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, and unit support staff.
