Description
ICU RN – Travel Contract (Days)
- Location: Bangor, ME (Level II Trauma Center)
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start: ASAP
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- First-time travelers welcome
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- PALS preferred
- Strong Neuro and Trauma ICU experience required
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for medical, surgical, trauma, and neuro ICU patients
- Manage ventilators, EVDs, ICP monitoring, chest tubes, critical care drips, A-lines/CVP, and tracheostomies
- Float to Cardiac ICU, Stepdown units, and PICU (if PALS/pediatric experience)
Facility Highlights:
- 26-bed ICU
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Cerner charting (preferred experience)
Additional Details:
- Every other weekend
- No call
- Free parking
