Description
8 hour days, some on call on weekends Department is looking for a candidate who is able to start as soon as possible. Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Job Description Responsibilities Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures, including: General Nuclear Medicine procedures Stress Tests Thyroid Studies VQ Scans Bone Scans Gastric Emptying Studies Indium WBC Scans Required Qualifications Current and active NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine Current and active State of California Nuclear Medicine licensure Current CPR certification Strong customer service skills appropriate to the role Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to workload demands Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a nuclear medicine-related role/program Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Knowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms preferred Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands Mobility Walking – 15% Standing – 15% Sitting – 70% Agility Turning – Occasionally Bending – Occasionally Twisting – Never Kneeling – Never Crouching – Never Crawling – Never Climbing – Never Balancing – Never Strength Requirements Pushing – Up to 10 lbs Pulling – Up to 10 lbs Lifting – Up to 10 lbs Carrying – Up to 10 lbs
