👩‍⚕️ Position Overview

Join a high-performing respiratory therapy team supporting an EPIC transition backfill initiative. This role involves delivering both basic and critical respiratory care to adult and geriatric populations while working in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital setting.

👥 Patient Population

• Adult & Geriatric Patients
• Respiratory disease and critical care cases 

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and interpretation
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy
• Assess appropriateness of prescribed respiratory treatments
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge capture in Epic
• Assist in training/orienting new staff as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams 

📊 Assignment Details

• Patient Ratio: Varies based on acuity and unit needs
• Floating: May float within Respiratory Therapy scope across units
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days)
• Contract Type: 13-week travel assignment (with possible extension) 

✅ Requirements

🎓 Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience (Preferred) 

📜 Licenses & Certifications (REQUIRED)

• RCP License – California
• NBRC-RRT or CRT Credential
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
