- Role: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR - RN)
- Facility: Curry General Hospital (Curry Health)
- Location: Gold Beach, Oregon

- Client Bill Rate: $105.00
- Duration & Start Date: 13-week assignment starting 09/28/2026
- Shift & Call: Day shift with a variable on-call rotation
Clinical & Experience Requirements
- Perioperative Continuum: Must be comfortable working across Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU (experience must be clearly reflected on the resume).
- Preferred Experience: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology.
- Common Case Types: Endoscopies, pain injections, cataract surgeries, orthopedic procedures, and general surgical cases (note: no C-sections are performed).
Licensing & Compliance
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Licensure: Active Oregon RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
- Onboarding Timeline: Strict compliance timeline requiring all onboarding requirements to be completed 2 weeks prior to the start date.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
