Description
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ASCP (CT) Certification
- Active Louisiana Cytotechnologist License issued through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME) required.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Cytotechnologist experience required.
- Experience performing both GYN and NON-GYN cytology screening required.
- Experience with onsite Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) adequacy assessment required.
- Experience working in a hospital or reference laboratory preferred.
