Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) | Travel Contract

📍 Location: Scottsburg, IN
🕒 Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every Other Weekend
⏰ Hours: 36 Hours/Week (3x12)
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver safe and effective treatment.

Requirements

Active RN License
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience
Acute care experience required
Epic EMR experience required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications required

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Monitor patient responses and document clinical interventions
Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Delegate tasks appropriately and mentor support staff
Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards
