Travel RN – Cardiac ICU (CVICU/CCU) | 3x12-Hour Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse with a strong background in CVICU, CCU, or Cardiopulmonary ICU. Candidates must have extensive experience caring for critically ill cardiac patients and managing advanced cardiac support devices.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Patient Ratio: 2:1
• Unit: Cardiac/Medical ICU with occasional step-down overflow

Required Experience:

• Strong CVICU or CCU experience (required)
• Care of critically ill cardiac and medical ICU patients
• Management of advanced cardiac devices:
  • LVAD
  • Impella
  • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
  • Temporary Transvenous Pacemaker (TVP)
• Ventilator management
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Invasive lines and hemodynamic monitoring
• Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization & Cardiac Interventions
• Post Cardiac Surgery patients (not directly from the OR)
• Sheath removal
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced cardiac critical care nurses who are confident managing complex cardiovascular patients and advanced cardiac support therapies in a high-acuity ICU environment.
