Description
* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation.
OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass.
Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *.
Radius Rule: 50 miles
**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**.
Department: Med Surg / Ortho.
*Certifications Required: BLS*.
PRESCREEN+AUTO OFFER.
- Beds: 28 plus 22 overflow.
- Ratios: 1:05.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Total knees, total hips, should replacements, COPD, diabetes, wounds, IV infusions, dementia, oncology, fractures-hips, ankles; sepsis, pneumonia, cholelithiasis, ambulatory dysfunction, appendicitis, acute respiratory distress, CHF, dementia, ETOH/drug abuse.
- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
