Description

Job Title: Travel Surgical PCU Registered Nurse (RN) - Vent Experience (4x12 Nights)

Job Description: Take on a high-impact travel assignment at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a premier 700+ bed Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching facility in Roanoke, VA! We are seeking an experienced Surgical PCU Registered Nurse for 4x12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15). In this specialized surgical stepdown unit, you will manage complex post-op patients, surgical drains, telemetry, and chronic trach ventilator care—apply today!

Contract Details:

Shift: 4x12-hour Nights (18:45 – 07:15).
Commitment: Rotating weekends; work at least 1 holiday per contract (2 for winter holidays).
Submittal Essentials: All RTO and a candidate start-date confirmation screenshot must be included upfront.

Requirements:

Experience: Solid background in surgical PCU, stepdown, or IMC nursing. EPIC charting proficiency is required.
Key Skills: Ventilator/trach care, cardiac drip management (non-titrating), chest tubes, and dysrhythmia interpretation.
Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required at submittal.
Licensure: Active Virginia RN license or multi-state compact license in hand.
Radius Compliance: Strictly enforces a 100-mile radius rule (special exceptions apply for local candidates living 50–99+ miles away; local candidates under 50 miles subject to lower bill rates and single-term limits).
