Description
Shift
- 12-hour Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- Weekly Monday orientation/start dates
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
- Perform maternal and newborn assessments and monitoring.
- Administer medications and provide patient education.
- Support breastfeeding and postpartum recovery.
- Recognize and respond to changes in maternal or newborn condition.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Postpartum RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with magnesium drips and telemetry is strongly preferred
