Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
- Schedule: Days
- Unit: New Outpatient Oncology Program
- Experience Required:
- Previous Oncology Nurse Navigator or Oncology Care Coordination experience
- Oncology infusion experience required
- Strong patient education, communication, and multidisciplinary care coordination skills
- Occasional chemotherapy infusions may be required
- Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care from diagnosis through treatment
- Educate and support oncology patients and their families
- Collaborate with providers, pharmacy, infusion nurses, and ancillary departments
- Assist with chemotherapy infusions as needed
- Required Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Oregon RN License (or ability to obtain before start)
- BLS
- ACLS
- Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Certification
- Preferred Experience:
- Epic Beacon
