 Shift: 8H Days M-F, 8 hour shits (staggered start, either 0730 or 0800) Will travel to Ladysmith once a week -- Unit Notes:Department: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer*Certifications Required: BLS, CCI or RDCS***Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Locals accepted at local rate**- How many scanners/rooms does this dept have: 2 Scanners.- Will they have to float/cover any other areas: May be asked to float to other location (40 miles away), Lead will float between locations.- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Perform and analyze echocardiograms to assess cardiac structure and function. Prepare and position patients, ensuring quality imaging and patient comfort. Collaborate with cardiologists to assist in diagnostic interpretation. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment.- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 3 years of experience. Will accept first-time travelers. Must have stress echo experience. No peds. Would accept duos.- Average # of studies per day: 7-9 cases per day.- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: EMR- Cerner, Syngo Dynamics.- Department Specific Equipment: Siemens Accu SC 2000.- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Lead.- Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants): None.- Radiologist in-house: Cardiologist on-site.- Do they have to start IV's (if applicable to the department): RNs perform IVs. Prefer IV .- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling): M-F 5- 8 Hr shifts. Stagger start: Rice Lake: 7:30 & 8.- Weekend Requirements: None.- Holiday Requirements: None.- Call or Standby requirement Response time: None.- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided: Any color scrubs, clean & professional.- Department specific orientation: 4 hrs CBTs & 1- 2 days with a preceptor.*MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.*All clinicians must clock in and out at facility
