Description

Position

  • Role: Hybrid OR/Cath Lab Technologist
  • Shift: 10-Hour Days (typically 6:00 AM–4:30 PM)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Contract Length: 89 weeks (this is unusually long for a travel assignment and should be verified with the recruiter)

Facility

  • Location: Monument Health
  • Address: 353 Fairmont Blvd., Rapid City, SD
  • Facility Highlights:
    • Level II Trauma Center
    • Level III NICU
    • Magnet-designated hospital
    • Primary Stroke Center
    • Teaching hospital
    • 417 beds
  • Traveler Requirement: Must live at least 100 miles from any Monument Health facility.

Unit Information

  • Department: Hybrid Cath Lab/Operating Room
  • Rooms: 1 hybrid OR (opened in May)
  • Case Volume: Approximately 1–2 cases per day
  • Patient Population: Adult

Required Experience

Applicants must have hands-on experience with complex hybrid OR procedures. Interviews will not be scheduled unless this experience is clearly documented on the candidate's cover page.

Required experience includes:

  • EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair)
  • PMEG/TAMBE procedures
  • Hybrid Cath Lab/OR procedures
  • Open and endovascular vascular surgery
  • Peripheral stenting with endarterectomy
  • Peripheral bypass procedures

Candidates without experience in these procedures should be declined.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of procedural experience
  • First-time travelers accepted based on skills and manager review

Required Certifications

  • RT (Radiologic Technologist) or equivalent OR RCIS
  • BLS
  • ACLS
