Job Title: Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Monument Health (Rapid City, SD)
Job Description: Take on an exciting travel assignment at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, a premier 417-bed Level II Trauma Center and teaching facility in Rapid City, SD! We are seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist to join our cardiac surgery team utilizing a collaborative "2 Tech Model" per case. If you have a strong background in open-heart, thoracic, and vascular procedures, apply today!
Contract Details:
- Facility: Monument Health Rapid City Hospital (Rapid City, SD).
- Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts (TBD during interview).
- On-Call: Required (approx. 1 overnight per week and every 3rd weekend; strict 15-minute response time; on-site sleep rooms available). Provided scrubs and free parking.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility. First-time travelers welcome!
- Systems: EPIC charting proficiency required.
- Certifications & Education: Active AHA BLS and graduation from an accredited scrub tech program required (CST certification preferred; Associate Degree in a healthcare-related field accepted).
- Travel Compliance: Strictly enforces a 100-mile travel radius rule (local candidates within 100 miles will not be considered; permanent staff must wait 1 full year before returning as a traveler).
