Description
Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Inpatient
Position Details:
- Adult ICU, Adult General Units & Pediatric General Units
- ED experience preferred, but not required
- Weekends as needed
- No call
- Flexible scheduling required
- No block scheduling permitted
Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required – CRT will not be accepted
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Recent Epic EMR experience (within the last 2 years) – mandatory
- Certifications required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
Submission Requirements:
- All respiratory specialties must be clearly documented on each employment entry.
- Complete work history is required (bed count, facility type, EMR, unit details, etc.).
- Explain all employment gaps greater than 90 days.
Orientation & Offer Process:
- Offers made Monday–Sunday.
- Bi-weekly orientation on Mondays.
Travel Pay Tiers (based on straight-line mileage from home to facility):
- Travel: 101+ miles
- Radius: 51–100 miles
- Local: 50 miles or less
Additional Notes:
- Public transportation is not available.
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended.
- From November through April, vehicles should have all-season or snow tires.
