Description
Required Experience
- Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory care experience required.
- Strong PICU or NICU experience required.
- Experience in pediatric critical care settings required.
- Experience caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients required.
- Ability to float to adult acute care units as needed.
- Level I Trauma experience preferred.
- Experience with pediatric cardiac surgery, ECMO, and high-acuity patients preferred.
Required Certifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Valid state respiratory care license
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Experience working in a teaching hospital environment preferred
