Critical Care RN – PICU/CVICU | Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN

 

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Pediatric Critical Care RN to join a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center! Travelers will work across PICU and CVICU based on staffing needs.

 

Position Details

  • Start Dates: 8/10 or 8/24
  • Contract: 11 weeks
  • Hours: 48 hours/week | 4x12s
  • Shifts: Days or Nights
  • Every other weekend
  • Floating required between PICU/CVICU and two hospital campuses
  • RTO accepted
  • 1 holiday required
  • Royal Blue scrubs

Requirements

  • Active Minnesota RN License or MN Temporary RN Permit
  • BLS & PALS
  • 2 years of PICU and/or Pediatric CVICU experience preferred
  • 1+ year of travel experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Must be comfortable caring for high-acuity pediatric patients, including pre/post-op surgical, trauma, cardiac surgical, and cardiac procedural patients
  • COVID vaccine + booster required if eligible

Role Overview

Provide family-centered critical care to infants, children, and adolescents while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Nurses will float between PICU and CVICU and between the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses based on staffing needs.
