Description
Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Days – 5x8 Hours
Schedule:
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Experience Required:
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Ability to perform routine diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Experience training and leading other staff preferred
Required Licensure & Certifications:
- New York State Nuclear Medicine License/Registration
- ARRT (N) or CNMT Certification in Nuclear Medicine (or Board Eligible)
- CPR Certification
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine Nuclear Medicine diagnostic procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Operate Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment
- Maintain radiation safety standards
- Assist with patient preparation and education
- Document procedures accurately in Epic
- Support quality imaging and patient care
- May assist with training and supervising other staff members
