Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
On-Call: Yes
Weekend Requirements: Only if called in

Job Summary

The CVOR Registered Nurse provides specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures. The RN supports the surgical team during complex cardiac and vascular procedures while ensuring patient safety, effective communication, and adherence to surgical standards.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
Experience with:
- Open Heart Surgery
- Open Vascular Surgery
- Endovascular Procedures

Responsibilities

Provide circulating and perioperative nursing support for cardiovascular surgical cases.
Assist with preparation, positioning, and safety checks for surgical patients.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain sterile technique and follow surgical protocols.
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and communicate changes appropriately.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with patient safety standards.
